First Coastal’s bulkheads provide positive protection for bay shorelines through the installation of professionally designed and built structures. First Coastal’s bulkheads are designed to rigorous standards to provide protection from direct wave impact. Scouring and adverse impacts to surrounding areas are mitigated through First Coastal’s design process and the implementation of stone toe protection along the base of the bulkhead.

We only utilize materials specifically designed for harsh marine environments. As required by permit conditions, we incorporate the use of non-treated timbers and man-made sheathing.
